HAED

Last week I worked on the fairy by HAED, and made quite a lot of progress before I got bored - actually I only got bored when I had to stitch lots in one colour! I really love working on things with lots of colour changes. I still need to fill in the gaps that show in the top portion - these represent the threads I cannot find! They must be out with another project somewhere!

Nice progress there girl. I get where you are coming from with bored though. I have that problem with mine and it has languished in a corner for a couple of months now.

I agree, it can get boring when it's so much of one colour - there's always a feeling of excitement when you know a colour change is coming up so persevere!
I finished my Noahs Ark project today but had to hunt high & low for a DMC white - how can any avid cross stitcher not have a white in their stash? Eventually found some deep down in the 'projects to finish' box so pinched that & pushed the half-completed stitching back to the bottom of the box.
