It has become a tradition for Sally and I to do a Christmas SAL in December, and we chose Poinsettia House for this year. This is our third year and we have already decided on next years! So this is my progress pic. We also have Lesleyanne, Lisa, Hazel and Claire joining in with us this year, although only Lesleyanne is doing the same design.
I'm sure you all know by now that the UK has been hit with snow, so I will leave you with a few photo's taken yesterday morning.
And the third picture seems to have disappeared!

Lovely progress. I am really loving this one. I think I might join next year too lol. I already have my eye on a snowman design I like. If you will have me lol.
I love the view!
Love how yours is looking Chris. I started in the middle so am doing the house! I am enjoying this one so much. So glad we chose it :)
Nice progress! How neat that you have a long standing SAL tradition! That's a lot of fun. Love the snow pics! Stay warm--it's a nice excuse to hunker down and stitch. ;)
What a lovely little start and a fun tradition!
That first wintery picture is just beautiful!
That's a very nice project.
And what a great Halloween exchnage you were part of.
Great start on poinsettia House. All our snow has gone now
Lovely progress on your SAL Chris. I'm sorely tempted to ask if I may join you although I don't have that particular design. I do have a couple of LHN's winter designs though.
I thought we had a lot of snow, about four inches and that was more than enough, but nothing compared to you! Hope you are not having too much trouble getting to work in it.
Isn't it so cozy to sit with your Poinsettia house and a yummy cup of hot chocolate or tea inside and see the snowy landscape outside? I just love it....
Thanks for the welcome ;)
I keep seeing the Poinsettia house on blogs and the more I see it the more I want to stitch it. Look forward to seeing the end result.
You've made a great start Chris.
I'm absolutely loving stitching Winter Whites, don't want to stitch anything else lol.
The snow does look lovely, but I've had enough of it now and want it to go away, well, all the sheet ice that is left.
Nice start on your Poinsettia House, that is such a nice design.
I enjoyed the pictures of the snow, it makes me miss is even more.
