15 sided biscornu

I started this the other week, then it was put aside, and I couldn't pick it up again as I couldn't find the thread I had used. The colours were chosen by DD as she thought it should be 'funky'. 15 different Blackwork squares, they each measure one inch.

Last weekend was Bank Holiday weekend, and I searched my stash and found the thread, and sat in the garden and finished it. Guess what - I forgot to leave a border around each square, it would have looked so much better with space between the squares - but I didn't think of that until I came to join them up - a bit fiddly with small squares, and it looks a bit busy - but I was determined to make it up having stitched them. I might make this again - remembering to leave a bigger space when stitching. LOL And it will be in a different colourway.

Funky is the word! But I like it :D
Gorgeously colourful and different from the usual biscornus you see out there.

Am making my first biscornu. I THINK I've left enough space, but I am sure it won't be enough when I come around to stitching the biscornu up!
Just need to stitch the back piece, le sigh :)

Good idea and it is kinda cute. Use this as a learning experience but your stitching is absolutely perfect. I'm not sure I want to do one of these 15 sided biscornu's but I love the ordinary ones especially the ones with the double running stitch around the main motif on the top and shall make one of those as soon as all my commitments are done and dusted. Wasn't this weekend just glorious! Lots of Love Patti xxx

It looks fantastic, i like it without the border, you really have to look to see where one square ends and another begins, well done on a super little finish.
