Anyone still out there?

Where does the time go? It will be next year before I know it!

Well my daughter went off to the University of Leeds, and I just saw her on Friday for the first time in 5 weeks. She was able to come home for a few hours and to sleep in her own bed, before I took her back. If anyone knows any craft shops in Leeds - I'd love to hear from you, and maybe on my next trip I'll be able to craft shop.

I hope to get back into blogging, and catch up on the 1000 posts I have yet to read- well that will be looking at the photo's. Thanks Sally for introducing me to Face book, and an addictive game!

I've just taken part in my first exchange this year - HOE - Halloween Exchange, and I was late posting. Sorry to my partner, but hopefully it should pop through her door shortly as it left here last Monday, 18th October - two weeks past the deadline. it would seem that I am no better.

I still need to get a couple of gifts in the post - it's the finishing off that somehow seems to get postponed. Forever the procrastinator!

Is Duttons for Buttons still there? It was in one of the old arcades. Fabulous shop!

oh my, please don't yet mention next year... I still have far to many things to do this year...

I am glad you'll be 'Craft Shopping' in Leeds. I have lived there for some time and there was a shop in Chapel Allerton (will get the address to you), also the Saturday Market in Leeds town centre is good for fabrics and accessories. Don't forget there is Harrogate not too far from Leeds and a absolutely wonderful shopping area...
I do miss Yorkshire...
warm wishes
Gina

Good to see a post from you again Chris. Mind you my own blogging is leaving a lot to desire at the moment. I don't spend anywhere near as long blogging as I used to.

Glad you're back. Duttons for Buttons also have shops in York and Harrogate, I know they are still there. As for other craft shops in Leeds, no idea. I know what you mean about Facebook. Farmville is the one I'm hooked on. If it's the same for you and you need more neighbours give me a shout!

Nice to see you back Chris. We're not overly blessed with good craft shops in Leeds, certainly not in the centre where there is just Samuel Taylors on New Market Street which is more of a general haberdashers than anything else. There is a Hobbycraft on the Crown Point retail park.

If you knit there is a gorgeous wool shop in Headingley called BaaRamEwe thats well worth a visit.

If you fancy meeting for a coffee let me know.

Good to see you back posting Chris.
The only craft shop I'm aware of in Leeds is Samuel Taylor which is near to the market I believe. Have a look on their website. If you fancy a meet up there for a coffee next time you're through let me know, I'm only about a 20min drive from Leeds.
